System status

Recent events
23 April 2010
- The new server has since been acquired and installed. The two wikis I host have been moved to this server. This site has already moved. All other sites the old server hosts will move as well. If you can see this, this is the new server.
- I had to replace one of the drives which appears to have a bad block. The server was briefly offline only to make sure that a reboot would work. The actual replacement of the drive itself never required me to down the machine, as SATA was designed to do.
Ongoing events
April-May 2010
- I have begun the migration in earnest. The websites which do not need mail support and/or have only database services are being migrating presently with the others soon to follow.
Future events
Sometime in Q2 2010
I will be upgrading the software load on this machine to the latest release of Ubuntu, Lucid Lynx. Date, time and maintenance window length to be determined.
